It all started with a pickle juice shot. On November 7th 2021, Jason and Vicki met by chance amongst mutual friends. In an attempt to impress her, Jason offered Vicki a libation to which she insisted on a single shot glass of pickle juice. Disgusted, but a man of his word, Jason obliged and the two were smitten.

On November 13th the two had their first official date— no pickle juice, but plenty of banter.

In the summer of 2022, Jason and Vicki moved in together and with that joined their two families. The blending of families brought more obstacles— and laundry—but also more love and new traditions.

On April 23rd 2024, while sitting quietly in their new home after a typical family movie night, Jason proposed to Vicki. Naturally, she said yes and cried for the next 2 days (according to sources).
